Mary Elizabeth Vermont Composer Mary Elizabeth is largely self-taught, but has benefited from opportunities and generous support provided by many, including harpist Heidi Soons (shown at right). Among her works for harp are the poems of John of the Cross for mezzo and harp and a Christmas Oratorio for choir, brass quintet and harp.  Other works are for percussion ensemble, a capella choir, and many more settings of poetry for voice.
