Harp Competitions

Dutch Harp Competition March 27-April 1, 2012 in Utrecht. Open to all ages and nationalities. Emphasizes musical quality and artistry over harp technique. Deadline info: Application is on the website, must be completed in time to then be able to postmark or email further documents by November 15, 2011. 2012 Young Artist’s Harp Competition July 11-14, 2012 in Rabun Gap, GA. Open to harpists of all nationalities ages 11-19. Preliminary video DVD is due by May 1, 2012. For complete rules, repertoire and entry form go to www.harpcompetition.com. The competition precedes the Young Artist’s Harp Seminar, July 14-28, 2012. (Students are not required to attend both events.)
